You would find that reset option under the Help menu. However, keep in mind this will log you out of all your teams. Resetting the local cache can be helpful as well. Using the /collapse command in media-rich or snippet-heavy channels can help with that. Also, if there is a lot of media content (GIFs, videos) in the teams, that would take a lot of memory as well. We use up at least 250 MB of RAM for each team, so freeing that should help a bit. If you're signed into a number of teams at the same time but are not active in all of them, sign out of the ones you don't currently need. You may have touched on the solution here - Slack gradually builds up memory usage over time, so quitting Slack and reopening it might help reduce the memory usage. I figure I left the slack desktop client running since some time last night, probably around the 24 hour mark at the time of this post. ![]() Checked my task manage to see what was using the most memory and discovered one of Slack's executables was using 2.7GB of memory. ![]() ![]() Noticed my system was being a bit sluggish, which is odd and suggests that all is not well.
